Setting up spam blocking on Plesk

The following walkthrough uses the ndca.net domain. Your domain name and email account names will be different than the ones shown in this document. The procedure for enabling spam blocking, however, will be the same.

1) Log in to your Plesk control panel.

a. Navigate to www.ignushosting.com (After you browse to that url, it will change. This is normal.)

b. Type in your supplied username and password

c. Click ‘Login’

2) Navigate to the Spam Guardian panel.

a. Click the Spam Guardian link on the left.

3) Select the domain that requires SPAM blocking

a. Click the domain name

4) Click the mailbox that requires SPAM blocking.

a. Each mailbox has its own spam blocking settings. For every account that you want to protect, you will need to repeat steps 4-5.

5) Turn on spam blocking for the account you have selected.

a. Click on the “Save spam to IMAP folder”

b. Type SPAM into the “IMAP Folder to save spam in” box

c. Click the “Update” button

d. Click the domain link at the top of the page to go back to the email account list if you need to turn on spam blocking for more email addresses (repeat steps 4-5).
